Remember the time when your parents didn't buy you that one toy you admired so very much?
Remember the time when your mum or dad quarreled and it seemed to you as though they were never gonna speak to each other again?
Remember the time when some special left and then it dawned upon you that you didn't have anyone else to talk to?
Remember the time when you just couldn't control your emotions and you lashed out at someone unintentionally?
Remember the time when you hated family gatherings?
Remember the time when you had so fun with your siblings you felt like tomorrow would never come?
Remember the time when you looked forward to your birthday?
Remember the time when you scored for your papers?
Remember the time when your best friend was upset and all you needed to do was to just sit beside him/her without saying a word?
Remember the time when you felt so unsure of yourself?
Remember the time when it was raining and all you wanted to do was to go out and dance in the rain?
Remember the time when you felt so sick that it was as though you were never going to get any better?
Remember the time when you spoke up for a friend when others were against him/her?
Remember the time when you cried over a pet that died after being neglected for so long?
Remember the time when you met someone from your past?
Remember the time when.....

Here's to...
Here's to the old, hunched-back smelly man who never failed to roam the streets with his bicycle to do all that collecting he used to do for just a few cents per day.
Here's to the boy who never failed to break her fall.
Here's to the one who caught anothers' heart and held on to it.
Here's to the pets who've been there one way or another for their owners when all else seemed too wrong.
Here's to the things that matter, whether big or small.
Here's to the times when others did our best but never got what they wanted in return.
Here's to the little kid who cried at her mum at the supermarket cash counters for ice cream.
Here's to the spoilt brat who's out spending all the hard-earned money of the parents.
Here's to playing monopoly together with the two brothers who attempted to con all their friends' money away.
Here's to the girl who waited for her dad after an hour from the promised time just because he was busy caring about something else.
Here's to the kid who never failed to speak to people with sarcasm.
Here's to the one person who had the power to make people cry just by singing.
Here's to the peeps who never fail to stick to and out for their friends come rain come shine.
Here's to the things in life that make it worth living for.
Here's to the part where I ran out of things to say.
Fair eventide to one and all.
Here's to the boy who never failed to break her fall.
Here's to the one who caught anothers' heart and held on to it.

Laugh

I'll die of laughter one day
When I'm old and grey
I'll break my right hip due to bone decay
I'll fall to the ground but no one will know
I'll laugh as I fall and laugh as I go
But in the meantime, make sure you have your own share of one of the things that makes life beautiful
And for once after such a long while, take some time off and

Story #6
Ever since she could remember
All that he ever said most of the time was this
'I'm going over to my friend's place'
She hated it when he said that particular line to her
Because following that line would be a good four or five hours
Fun and joy for him outside home
Worry and frustration for her at home
Then he'd come back home
Whistling as he reaches for his keys to the door
She awaits his return in the living room
Then there came a day when he didn't return
That was the day she ever missed those words
'I'm going over to my friend's place'
She never heard them again
All that he ever said most of the time was this
'I'm going over to my friend's place'
She hated it when he said that particular line to her
Because following that line would be a good four or five hours
Fun and joy for him outside home

Messy Mixture
I don't get it
One minute you say you need me around
And the next you don't even seem to acknowledge my presence
I don't understand you
And every time I get affected and feel all down
I get a dressing-down from you
Mind you, I get affected BY you and I get a dressing-down FROM you
And I could really learn to stop listening to your reasoning
Every single time I tell myself I shouldn't be taking all this from you
You reason and tell me all those words
Then I get all 'Ah what the heck, you won't do this again'
And I can't believe I actually brush everything aside
I really can't believe that part of me
And whereas to you
There is little left to how much I can keep this up
Please don't mind me if I do
One minute you say you need me around
And the next you don't even seem to acknowledge my presence
I don't understand you
And every time I get affected and feel all down
I get a dressing-down from you
Mind you, I get affected BY you and I get a dressing-down FROM you
And I could really learn to stop listening to your reasoning
Every single time I tell myself I shouldn't be taking all this from you

Look at her, shutting out all the negativity
Well, she chose to see only the brighter side every time
Look how sorry a state she's in now
15th February 2008
Hello
You can't see me nor feel me
You can't smell me nor sense me
We haven't met now have we
No worries
I'll tuck your sister in real tightso that she doesn't know you're gone
Sleep well
Look at her, shutting out all the negativity
Well, she chose to see only the brighter side every time
Look how sorry a state she's in now
