Recent happenings

Things have been not so good but not so bad either.
Sorry for not blogging(but it's not like I have heaps of readers anyways) but I haven't exactly been harbouring the best feelings in the world this past 10 ten days.
Sorry. ):

Still, I'd had two special people celebrate their 17th just this past thursday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the both of you !!! :D

Oh and just fyi, my facebook account has been disabled by an administrator cause I was registered under the wrong high-school. So none of you will be seeing me on facebook anymore.

Moving on, this past Saturday the Pandu Puteri(s) and Renjer(s) of JB all came over to our school for this Thinking Day function.
This year's theme was 'Water'.
And being a guide once, our new headmistress decided to get the choir to put on a show so as to not be looked down and humiliated for making the event a bore.
Things were so last minute and so our teacher decided for us to sing our 'Mama Medley' and one other song we've just learnt exatly a week ago during choir camp, 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'.
Naturally, I had to play 'Conductor' AGAIN. :/
And Cal wasn't around cause she was away for SOME reason. *ahem. :D*
Oh well, the show must go on. And it did go on.
Wasn't exactly the best, but I guess the girls did quite well considering the rush and all else. Good job! :)
Oh and thank you Mercy. You are good person. Me like. Hee. x]

Regarding the choir camp, the pictures I was in were taken by Agnes and my sister, Yvonne.
Don't have a single one with me yet, and I'm not really planning to post them up anyways.

To Julian and the few people who were waiting for my arrival on Saturday night,
I'm tragically sorry I came to your party at 10.45pm that other night. I had something else on and circumstances prevented me from coming earlier to have fun with you guys. Heard mountains of the amount of fun you guys had before I came, wish I was there. Sorry.

To 'ZEKE!!!' :D,
Thanks for the ride, tree-hugger. I owe your dad 20 bucks. Send your dog my regards. Zoe too.

Oh and people, give it up for our dear Calista for passing her undang(driving theory paper) !!! Woot woot. :D

The following are the movies I've watched/re-watched this past week.
It's not that I have too much free-time, I'm just not a homework-doer. *shrugs*

Love and Other Disasters

Notting Hill

What A Girl Wants

The shows are quite good I must say.
LAOD is quite a gay film but the story's about the GIRL on the cover and a straight guy, not all the gays in the show.
NH, named after a quiet place in London, tells the story of a female star who has some issues(Julia Roberts) and a guy she meets in a bookstore(Hugh Grant).
WAGW's a film about the journey of a girl(Amanda Bynes) who meets this seriously seriously cute guy(Oliver James)[<------AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Cx] when she decides to go visit her dad(Colin Firth) after 17 years of being separated.

I have to admit, watching the last movie along with my dad was a bit awkward.
In the movie, Amanda Bynes is very emo cause she always sees brides dancing with their dads during wedding receptions.
Oh well you get the flow.
Plus! I was trying very hard not to swoon at Oliver James that I had to bury my head in the pillows of the sofa set to avoid my weird expressions from being visible. Hee.

To Vanessa Lee, Rachel Lua, Christine, Jacelyn and a few others who would know who I'm talking about,
I still think he's hot. The one whom I failed to get to buy our youth shirt. Though he's like, really ah-beng now whatwith his cross black-brown hair colour. But the hairstyle makes him seem cute to me. No meh?

GEORGE !!! YOU'RE 14 TODAY !!! YAY! :D

p/s : Anyone wanna come over my place for pastry baking ??? Let me know ya. :]

Now and later

I promise I'll blog later today after my sleep. Promise.

Thursday, March 20

It's horrible.
Oh so horrible.

Bad days leave us tired and frustrated.
Whereas for good days,
we don't even notice they're good days to begin with.

Just for now, I hate everything today.

The current tune haunting me right now?

Stay with me
Remain here with me

Yesterday

I spent my whole Saturday out yesterday.

First up I started my morning by doing some community service along with all the interactors of CIC, JB.
When I got to the home(it was a home, right?) everyone was already starting to clean the place.
So I grabbed a rug and started working while talking to this really cute(as in old-people cute not hot-guy cute kay!) old man whose area of the home I was cleaning. :D
We did quite a lot and were quite bummed but we did have fun and there were things that happened that were downright hilarious.
There was this Malay tenant living there, he had a locked-up cupboard full of things like plastic containers, expired perfume and not forgetting the three different chairs. There was a kitten trapped in it too !
At first he refused to open the lock thinking that we'd steal his things, then an uncle came over and told him we needed to clear up the place for him and if he didn't open the cupboard we wouldn't be able to help him clear his stuff.
So whilst that uncle started going through his stuff and throwing them into a big rubbish bag to get rid of all the junk he found, the Malay tenant was grabbing for his things and in the end they started a friendly debate on what to keep and what to throw.
It was simply hilarious to watch and listen to them reason with each other, more so with so many of us girls there.
Even when the Malay tenant told our dear President to give him back his folding chair that he bought himself, our President was caught in a dilemma.
Anyways, we did all sorts of stuff like cleaning, sweeping, wiping the tables and fans, painting both the outsides and insides of the whole home, and some of the Care United women even got their husbands to clear and disinfect the backyard.

We left the area at around 1.30pm by getting a lift from Kim's mum.
We had 6 people in the backseat, namely me, Fann, Serah, Mercy, Si Wei and Kim. Natalie was sitting comfortably in the front seat alone. xD
Fann fell asleep on my lap for about 5 minutes while all of us others prayed that our feet wouldn't go numb in the tight space till Kim's mum dropped us off at City Square.
Upon arrival we went straight up to the toilet and boy oh boy oh boy(inside joke :D) did these women take a hundred years to change and freshen up.
Had lunch together till Si Wei and Fann had to leave for tuition.
Then watched The Spiderwick Chronicles and then headed for church.
Had a HUMONGOUS dinner with the Ongs, Wongs and Uncle Paul who came down from KL.
Yum yum delicious-o(another inside joke) ! :D

This morning I woke up and the first thing that hit me was,

NO MORE MORE-THAN-5-HOURS-LONG MUSIC THEORY LESSON ANYMORE !!! C=

Friday, March 14

uuueeeehh

Just a quick update on what I've been up to during the holidays.
And fyi, I have not touched my homework one bit at all. :D

Monday

Theory exam at SMK Tmn Pelangi.
I screwed my paper.
After all, how was I supposed to REMEMBER what attaca
subito meant???
Oh well. Shall just have to try harder next time.
That's assuming if I'm going for it for another time. Aha. Ha. Ha.

Tuesday

Went to school to meet up with Mercy, Kim Chin, Nat and Rachel.
Took a taxi with Rachel to her place and played the Sims while she took her bath before we set off for Coffee Trap.
Merce, Kim and Nat took the bus straight to CT.
Had our St. Patricks' cheering champions celebration there.
Everyone was late due to the unpredictable rain.
But then again, we ARE girls you see. :D
Then hitched a ride from Claire's mum and reached home at 3.20pm.
After dinner I went over to Calista's place for a sleepover.
We had fun eating(Yi Th'ng), yapping(Adeline Yap) and calling(Cal) people up. :D
Thanks for the hospitality Calista!
Jobu(is that how you spell his name???)'s adorable as hell !!! Ahaha. (:

Wednesday

We were woken up by Fann's call to Yi Th'ng.
Adeline and Yi Th'ng left for school as soon as they were ready by taxi.
I stayed back at Cal's and watched Bring It On : In It To Win It.
Then we both got ready for lunch and left for City Square.
Walked around and got word from Cal that Yi Th'ng wanted to join us for lunch.
Walked around for a bit more till Yi Th'ng said she couldn't make it.
We stopped by Season's for lunch.
Cal had a Tuna Croissant while I had an Egg Croissant. Really filling stuff.
Our plates were almost cleaned out when the ex-seniors walked in Season's.
We smiled and hurriedly finished our food as it got a wee bit awkward. Lol.
So we chatted with them for a bit, did some catching up and some hugging then we left for Cal's place again.
Cal and me dozed for a bit and did some other stuff.
Then daddy came and picked me up at 5.25pm. He was only 25 minutes late from the time I asked him to come pick me. Only.
Got home, bathed and slept.

Thursday

Got up at 9am and got ready to meet April, Joel, Adeline & Chris for our Singapore trip.
We were supposed to meet at 10am, but some problems came up and we only left for Sg at 12 plus.
By the time we got to the ice-skating rink, it was already 2.30pm.
So we went in and skated for a lil over 2 hours.
Okay, so I did fall down.
Flat on my back as though I was lying on the cold cold cold cold frozen ice.
It was freakily embarrassing business can???
And here comes the best part yet.
I, moi, fell right infront of a stupid guy who was wearing a top like my own.
Very very very extremely memalukan can???
AHHHHHHHHH !!! D:
And after I took my fall, he kept scaring me by coming from behind me while scraping the ice.
I have witnesses kay. Freaky guy. Ish. >=(
Left for Causeway Point for dinner.
After that, took the 950 bus to Woodlands Checkpoint but the jam was so bad we had to walk halfway through cause the bus couldn't go any further than 5 metres every time it moved.
Walked for what probably could have been a hundred years till we reached the checkpoint where the 'human jam' started.
The number of people queuing up was giler basket-fyingly freaky.
And so we took about more than an hour to get back to JB.
Oh and did I mention we walked ALL the way from the time we alighted the 950 bus till we reached JB?
On the causeway, me and April encountered 'Jackie Chan' and 'Michael Jackson'.
Really funny stuff and we were screaming our head off walking on the side of the road.
And we were walking as though we were competing in some walkathon.
Tiring and energy-consuming, but we had fun laughing at everything and anything underneath the sun(moon). :D
Slept very well at 1.30am after I took my bath at 12 plus in the morning.

Friday

Woke up at 7.30am for Interact duty in school.
Went out to collect some stuff and we had lunch at Kimgary's with Mercy and Serah(woot woots !).
Ordered the ever-so-huge French Toast(peanut butter on the inside, condensed milk on the outside), 3 glasses of Ying Yong and some other weird-tasting toast.
It was fun
, all three of us laughing and spending some quality girls-out time.
From the time we walked down the school carpark, in the bus, looking at weird business/namecards, taking a look at the car chowcases on the groundfloor, up to where we had lunch at Kimgary's itself.

Me(in mandarin) : [male waiter places food on table] Where's the cutlery???

Male waiter : *uuuueeehhhhh* [and rushes off to get cutlery with a stupid smile on his face]

Us three : [burst out laughing]

By the way, the male waiter dude, he had afro hair !!! xD Funny dude.

THANK YOU BOTH
INTERACTOR SERAH AND INTERACTOR MERCY VERY MUCH !!!

I had an uuueeeeehhh-ly awesome day. :D

Consideration

When carrying out an action or speaking your mind, always consider the following :

How would the other party feel?
How would the other party react?
How would what you do/say affect the other party?
Is that what you really want to do/say?
Do you want to think it over in case you're about to do a huge damage?
There's no turning back after you do/say this...

When driving, PLEASE. Stick to your OWN lane.
And to taxi drivers, can you all not stop in the middle of the road to pick people up?

We often get word that others badmouth us.
Then we start to cry and think everything's unfair and everyone's evil.
After you get over it, however, there is a big possibility that YOU'll be the one taking part in all the gossip and badmouthing activity.

When emergencies come up during meetings or gatherings and your cell shouldn't be audible at all, PLEASE either get the thing settled and be done with it or switch off your hellomoto.

When you're about to tell another that things are over and won't ever be the same again, try and allow the other party some time to get used to the fact that you're really leaving instead of doing hurtful things that'll scar others.

When you're going emo all the time and doing pretty much nothing else, wake up and smell the roses! Cause there's more to life than being all sad and blue.

I seriously don't think I'll be able to do ANY homework at all this holidays.
But that's a whole new story altogether.
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA.
Sorry, I had my Ice Blended Mocha
at CofBean&Tealeaf AGAIN today.
Dolce as ever. :D
(Screwed theory exam though, ANOTHER whole new story but a sad one though)

Sunday, March 9

Help... Anyone?

Mummy, do I really have to go for my last music theory lesson which will last for more than 5 hours (of agonizing pain and boredom and all that) right before I take my grade 6 theory exam tomorrow?

Coffee Break

Went out today with Leroy and gang to grab some coffee.
Though I presume he conveniently forgot to tell me that there'd be his peeps around as well.
It's okay, I had fun with you guys.
Fyi, I hung for a bit with Leroy, ShuPei(only for about 10 minutes in Leroy's car ='/), Nigel, Brian and Vinesh. Joel joined us at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlet in City Square later on.

Let's see.
If you were to ask me what was the most amusing part of today apart from the incident my mum was involved in(for more info, ask me personally), I think it'd be the time right after we dropped ShuPei off at Kerry's.
Honestly speaking, never in my life have I seen guys do what these dudes did today(in Leroy's car).
Allow me to evaluate things a wee bit.

Right after ShuPei off, a song came on the radio. A song called 'Wonderwall'.
Right a second after Vinesh(if I'm not mistaken) said the word 'Oasis'.
As you know, the whole clique practically WORSHIPS that song.
What happened was really quite similar with the scene from the movie 'White Chicks' when 'A Thousand Miles' came on the radio with all the actors and actresses squealing and singing along.
Except that these were GUYS.
I have to tell you, I've NEVER seen this side of a guy before, let alone GUYS.
Except maybe for Leroy, who sings along to every song he hears if he knows the lyrics and the tune to it. But that's a whole new another story.
Amusing enough to make any girl fight back her tears of laughter while having her back turned from the guys in the backseat. :'D
And so there were 5.

Moving on, we arrived at City Square and Leroy parked his car.
The minute we stepped out of the lift, Mr Tan Young King just HAD to exclaim his estatic-ness of being in City Square that a bunch of lala young teens turned around and stole a few glances at him, no doubt wondering how this madman made his escape to a public area.
So we walked to this pillar where we found ourselves wondering where to go.
The dudes decided to let me make the decision on where to go, so I gave them a choice between CofBean&TeaLeaf and Starbucks.
They chose CofBean so off we went.

Sat down after ordering my LARGE ICE BLENDED MOCHA along with Loy's drink and a piece of Choco Fudge cake.
Talked and talked while loads of people passed us by outside.
Juniors, seniors, the dudes' friends, you name it.
Then Joel joined us shortly. And so there were 6.
Talked for a bit more before the dudes' tangan gatal sangat, we bertolak-ed for the arcade. Brian left before we got to the escalator. And so it was 5.
Raced once(no, I did NOT race), Joel left. And then there were 4.
Raced once more, Vinesh left. And we were 3.

So we walked around for a bit, Leroy did some purchasing, and took a lift down to the basement carpark.
Went down to B2, couldn't find Leroy's car. Leroy panicked.
Rushed up to B1, still no sign of car. Leroy almost made a piss in his pants.
Ran down the stairs to B3, and thank God it was there. Leroy fell to the floor in relief. xD
Left City Square for my home, dropped me and off Leroy and Nigel went.

Thank you for bringing me out. Haven't been out this year as much as last year.
And God knows I needed the outing apart from the movie I watched with Mercy. :D
Thanks a bunch and I had fun. Though Leroy was being his normal hyper cannot-sit-still self.

What can I say, I had COFFEE. My addiction

Hi, I'm high. :DDDDDDDDDD

Back

This is going to be a long and random post. To make up for not blogging. :D
You've been warned, this is going to be very random indeed.

First up, this week was absolute madness.
Homework was madness.
I didn't get to have recess with my mates for the entire week.
I skipped school on wednesday cause my stomach was so upset, I couldn't get out of bed.
Though I went to school in the afternoon instead cause wednesday's Choir Day and got friggin unreasonably criticised by the PK(vice-HM) though I still like her a lot.
A whole GINORMOUS pilemountain of homework has been building up on my desk in my room.
And I seriously think my table is about to fall into pieces.
(It's the type that's stuck to the wall you see, no the type with legs.)
Let's hope that I can do some catching-up during this short holiday and hopefully slow down the workload.

By the by, I've already watched the movie 'Step Up 2' with Mercy on the 29th.
Awesome show, but not as good as the first.
Highest probability might be because Chaning Tatum wasn't really included in the movie scenes. ):
But the dance steps were, on a much higher level maybe?, cause this time round they have more leg movements and stuff.
Nevertheless, a movie worth watching with one of your very closest, whackiest, psycho-path friends EVER.
And we got the tickets for students' price. *grins widely*
Go catch it before it stops showing in cinemas!!!

A tiny image for Harveena, Mercy & all girls who sang 'LOW' with us in our very own world
:D

Moving on, I simply MUST thank Melanie and Serah for their comments.
Was getting quite depressed no one was commenting at all.
Goes to show that people do read my blog even if I don't make sense.

THANK YOU INTERACTOR SERAH AND INTERACTOR MELANIE. (:

A sticker I did on scrapbox, an application from facebook

This, just a random image that caught my attention

Of the few years I've lived, I've come to learn that :
- things happen, whether you like it or not
- most people say things they want to say without considering how others would feel
- you don't always get what you want
- best friends, good friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, none of them can compare to blood relations
- not everyone will share the same thoughts as you do
- cheering other people up can really brighten my day
- CHEERLEADING alone brightens up my day :D
- it can be real hard to hold on, but even harder to let go; and vice versa
- quarreling can either bring two individuals closer and push them wide apart
- some people are ____ by nature, some put on a great act just to be a wanna-be

But there's one thing I'm sure of, we may come from different backgrounds,
be it our family, our past, our whatelse, we're all stuck here in this world for one lifetime
and the least, the least we can do is to live life to its fullest and make the best out of everything we do. (:

the marchers of the four houses along with the marchers of the uniform bodies

p/s : Patricks' celebration to be held at Coffeetrap on tuesday! Absolutely excited and eager to meet up with the girls again!! Can't wait!!! :D

A post to a few people...

To the one I have hurt
I'm sorry, truly am
I've been horrible and you've never once turned your back on me
It was awesome talking to you just this week
Know that you're being missed and take care of yourself

To the one who has been hurt
Every time I get your messages or phone calls my heart goes especially out to you and you only for that brief moment
I sincerely hope you do get over it soon
Though I know shit happens and it hurts particularly horribly right now
Know that I'm around and I can't keep harm from you but we can help each other out

To the one who has been there for me
Every time things don't seem too good I pick up my cell and there you'll be
Even meeting you in school or outside, or a simple message online be it via msn or facebook
I can't possibly tell you how much better you always make me feel
If I haven't done the same for you all I can say is that I'm a pig and a million thanks

To the one who has inflicted pain
It hurts, you may not know how terribly but it really does
I really don't have much to say but I can thank you
Why? For helping me grow and become a stronger person
Regarding the things you do, say or think
You'll never know how much it matters to someone else and what it does to others

To the one who finds the time for us to talk even though we're physically separated
Believe it or not you might think you're causing me inconvenience but you make me feel better just by talking to you
A simple 'hi' could make me tear up cause I really can't imagine losing contact just because we don't meet with each other anymore
Thank you, for staying on as a friend to me

To the one of whom I fear
You have pushed me to do better than I normally can
You have taught me how to deal with my fears
Even though it meant to fear you in the process of being unafraid of something else
I'll never forget the things you've enlightened me on

To the one who has left
I've missed you and will always do
Do not worry too much about me forgetting you
Cause the truth is I never will
